Description

Treat the issue. Keep it gone.

Stubborn hoof problems don't clear up because of one product — they clear up because of a system. This kit gives you both halves: concentrated treatment for the fight, natural conditioning for every day after.

What's Inside

Botanical Blue Clay — 24 oz — Concentrated hoof packing for severe thrush, white line, and deep crevice issues. Anchors into the hoof wall, dries into a protective patch, and stays where you put it.

Botanical Hoof Balm — 24 oz — The fully natural daily conditioner that takes over once the hoof is clean. Sunflower oil, lanolin, and beeswax to condition. Venice turpentine, rosemary, and tea tree to keep the hoof environment balanced. No petroleum. No synthetics.

Choose the With Brush option to add a high-quality boar bristle hoof dressing brush — cleaner, easier daily application.

Why It Works

Botanical Blue Clay — Anchors deep into the hoof and dries into a protective packing patch. Reaches crevices where thrush and white line take hold. Seals out moisture, mud, and manure so the area can recover uninterrupted.

Botanical Hoof Balm — Steps in once the hoof is clean. Sunflower oil and lanolin deeply condition the hoof wall and the soft tissue around the frog without sealing the hoof off. White beeswax locks in moisture. Venice turpentine helps support hoof firmness, and rosemary and tea tree essential oils help keep the hoof environment clean and discourage damp, dirty conditions.

Together — A two-stage system. Concentrated treatment when you need it, natural daily care for every day after.

Ingredients

Botanical Blue Clay: Copper Sulfate, Kaolin Clay, Sodium Bentonite, Baking Soda, Distilled Vinegar, Tea Tree Oil, Clove Oil.

Botanical Hoof Balm: Sunflower Oil, Lanolin, White Beeswax, Venice Turpentine, Rosemary Essential Oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil.

How to Use

Botanical Blue Clay — Pick and clean the hoof. Press the Blue Clay firmly into the affected areas, collateral grooves, and crevices for full coverage. Wrap the hoof overnight for maximum absorption (optional). Reapply daily until the issue is fully cleared.

Botanical Hoof Balm — Once the hoof is clean and healthy, switch to daily Hoof Balm. Apply a thin, even layer across the hoof wall and underneath, around the frog. Use the included boar bristle brush (with the With Brush option) for the cleanest application. Wipe the brush clean after each use and store separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I use Blue Clay vs. Hoof Balm?
Use Blue Clay when there's an active issue — thrush, white line, or any stubborn hoof problem. It packs deep and creates a treatment zone. Once the hoof is clean and the issue has cleared, switch to Hoof Balm as your daily conditioner. It keeps the hoof moisturized, supports firmness, and helps keep the environment clean so problems don't come back.
Can I use both at the same time?
Yes. Some horses benefit from daily Hoof Balm on healthy hooves while you're still packing Blue Clay on a specific problem area. They don't fight each other.
Do I need the brush?
The brush is optional but recommended. It makes Hoof Balm application faster, cleaner, and more even — and it keeps dirt out of the jar since the brush stays separate. Choose the With Brush option to add it to your kit.
How long will the kit last?
Both products come in 24 oz jars. For an average single-horse owner, that's months of supply on the Hoof Balm and often a full season or more on the Blue Clay depending on how often you apply.
Is this safe for horses with shoes?
Yes. Both products work around shoes. Pack the Blue Clay into collateral grooves and crevices. Apply the Hoof Balm across the hoof wall, sole, and frog area as usual.
Can I use the kit as preventative care for healthy hooves?
Absolutely. Use Hoof Balm daily as your everyday conditioner and keep the Blue Clay on hand for the first sign of any issue. That's how barn pros stay ahead of problems.
