Restorative Clay: Clinical Wound & Skin Recovery
Clean ingredients. Competition approved. Proven results.
When skin is compromised — whether from abrasions, persistent sores, or seasonal irritation — healing stalls without the right conditions. Restorative Clay gives damaged tissue exactly what it needs: a dry, sealed environment where recovery can happen uninterrupted.
This concentrated clay is formulated to be placed directly onto affected areas, including raw or weeping tissue. Once applied, it firms into a durable outer shell — functioning like the body's own scabbing response, only stronger. Beneath that shell, Bentonite Clay and Sodium Bicarbonate go to work pulling fluid, heat, and bacterial buildup away from the wound site while Jojoba Oil and Witch Hazel condition the surrounding skin.
The result: tissue that can regenerate in a clean, undisturbed environment — free from flies, debris, and the cycle of re-infection that slows so many equine skin conditions.
Key Benefits:
- Competition Approved: Fully USEF and FEI compliant with zero banned substances.
- Sealed Recovery Zone: Firms into a breathable outer shell that keeps contaminants out while active ingredients work underneath.
- Deep Extraction: Bentonite Clay and Sodium Bicarbonate actively draw fluid, heat, and bacterial buildup away from the wound site.
- Broad Application: Trusted for abrasions, seasonal sores, dermatitis, hive flare-ups, and localized swelling.
Ingredients
Proprietary blend of Sodium Bicarbonate, Bentonite Clay, Witch Hazel, Jojoba Oil, Essential Rosemary Oil.
How to Use
- Prep the Area: For weeping or raw tissue, blot gently with a clean cloth until the surface is as dry as possible.
- Layer It On: Apply a generous, even coat over the affected area. Do not massage or rub in.
- Let It Set: Allow the clay to dry and harden completely into its protective shell.
- Leave Undisturbed: Keep the dried layer intact until it wears away on its own.
- Recoat as Needed: Once the layer has worn off, assess the area and apply a fresh coat if healing is still in progress.
- Gentle Removal: If early removal is necessary, dampen with water to soften first. Never peel or scrape dry clay — this can tear new tissue forming underneath.
💡 Pro Tip: Working near joints or high-flex areas? Mix in a small amount of Witch Hazel to thin the clay for a more flexible hold.
