Hi, I'm Terry — founder and CEO of The Botanical Horse.

This brand didn't start in a boardroom. It started in a barn, with a horse named Boots and a problem no one could solve.

Boots struggled with painful, persistent skin issues that simply wouldn't heal. Like many horse owners, we tried everything on the market — conventional treatments, harsh chemicals, every product the tack store had on the shelf. Nothing worked. Some made it worse.

So I took matters into my own hands.

With 32 years as a registered nurse and a lifetime around horses, I understood two things deeply: how the body heals, and how much harm the wrong ingredients can do. I set out to create something different — formulas clinically effective yet gentle enough for the most sensitive animals. No steroids. No harsh chemicals. No withdrawal periods. Just real ingredients doing real work.

What started as a mission to save one horse's coat became a full line of products trusted by riders, trainers, and owners who refuse to compromise. Every formula we make carries that same standard — built for the animals we love most.

Boots is still at the center of everything we do. He's the reason this brand exists, and he's the reason we keep going.
